Evan F. Boccardi is a young, progressive politician who identifies with, and has always been, a proud Member of the Democratic Party. Evan is originally from Bayside, and is a 4th generation native New Yorker and proud member of the LGBTQ community. Evan has been interested in politics since he was quite young. Campaigning for Obama-Biden in 2008 when he himself was 17 and too young to vote, and fighting against egregious economic inequality as part of 'Occupy Wall Street' when he was 20.
Evan is someone who has always achieved great things quickly. Evan is an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America, an accolade he achieved at the tender age of 15. Evan graduated from Queens College with a Baccalaureate Degree in Political Science at age 20. In recognition of his scholarship, he received an “Honors in Political Science” designation. After a brief foray into law school, Evan graduated from Baruch College at age 22 with a Master’s Degree in the field of Public Administration.
Evan is a commissioned Notary Public with the State of New York, and a Registered Marriage Officiant with the City of New York. He has worked as a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson, a Project Manager and has, for several years, been employed as an Engineer in the field of Colocation and Cloud Computing Data Centers, following in his parents' footsteps.
Evan recently married this past July at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church in Forest Hills. His wife, Arie, graduated from Lehman College with a Master’s Degree in Education. She is a New York City Public Schoolteacher, teaching both Psychology and Biology to high school students in one of the City’s neediest school districts.
